I have been wanting to go run this one with the kids, maybe scout some of the lakes to do some back country paddle boarding and looking for a place for my 5 year olds birthday. He wants to wheel into the back country and eat cake on top of a hill or mountain for his birthday so I am scouting for a local trail to make that happen :-)
I want to go run this one to see if it will be good but I have been hitting snow blocks on other local trails, last time I was out was about three weeks ago on the alpine mine road to crater lake and was blocked by snow. I'm hoping it's melted now but wanted to know if anyone has run this one this year and if the top of the pass is still snowed in.
Any info would be great!
