Since the early 1980s, every Friday the 13th, regardless of the month of the year, Port Dover, Ontario which is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario hosts a motorcycle event. It's a single day event and draws about 150,000 people. The population of the Town is just over 6,000, one of which is my Sister.

The kilometer marker sign below is just outside of town. It's probably the only one in the Province that has a 13 on it ... but we know why.
