Has anyone here gone on Shafer trail through to Potash rd and back to Moab? I can tell it’s supposed to be easy , so can I run this by myself in a stock Jeep JKU? Any input from those who know this area would be great, thanx

You will be fine. Shafer trail can be drive with any car. Potash rd is bumpy and will post some challenge on mini van.

I actually take some video when I drive Shafer trail/potash rd to Moab. If interested, I will share it.

I only suggest try to avoid driving in rain. Also make sure your brake is in good condition. The scenery is awesome. I do air down a bit when I drive through it. I have a portable inflator and air up after the trail.

For a really fun loop... Run Potash Rd, UP Shafer Switchbacks and back DOWN Long Canyon and return to Moab that way. More dirt = more fun. All are easily doable in a stock JKU.
