Is anyone running Yakima 1A towers & bars on their series 80? If so, have you tried mounting an RTT? I was thinking of doing two sets, with one set of bars and towers for a basket and another set of bars and towers for the RTT. The hitch in my plan was yestrday, when a tech line rep from Yakima said the 1A tower and bar system was not suitable for a RTT. I am still scratching my head..... Over the years, I have seen 1A towers and bars carry some HEAVY loads.....
