Nevada is a cool place to explore. For our first trip of the new year we went out to Winnemucca Dry Lake to explore the relics there.

There's the MGL Mine and Mill on the west slope of the Nightengale mountains. That was a neat spot. You can 4x4 up the canyon to the mine site.

Further north you can head up into School Bus Canyon where two old school busses are weathering away, helped by sporadic pelting with projectiles, including bowling balls.

There is more 4-wheeling up canyon and many more mines and mine sites. Definitely worth a day or weekend trip.

Hi, I followed your gaia link but it says I dont have the permission to view it. This trip is quite interesting and I like abandoned stuff. You think you can share the coordinates to the school bus? Thanks

Thanks for bringing back memories of a couple trips in that area! Man, it looks like someone fired a bowling ball canon at the buses since I was there!!

That part of NV has an almost limitless amount of great places to wheel and explore. The Wind Caves W of Pyramid Lake are incredible and Dogskin Mountain is a very fun loop to run. For a more hardcore trail, Eldorado Canyon near Carson City is a blast!

Thanks again for the great video.
