Hey Overlanders, So I need to replace some Heims on my control arms and re align the Jeep. My Issue is the Joints are rusted in and wont turn I have PB blasted them and tried and tried to turn them. I am a little nervous to take a torch to them as to damage the powder coat and dexterity of of the tubes but if I have to oh well but any non fire based solutions to get these to turn would be awesome!
 
Try hitting them with a hammer, or a BFH, to break free any corrosion that might be in the threads.

A little heat on the heim should be ok to get it to expand a touch. Try the hammer method when it's hot and then see about getting them to turn.
