Finally made it to Low Moor after several traffic delays. I'm monitoring CH 15. Just give a shout when you get here.

Hey guys, we're starting tomorrow right behind you (actually a little south of where you started in New Castle VA). How is the condition of Tub Run Road?

Good morning. Day #5. Our campsite had showers, and I think everyone has taken advantage of it. Sometimes it is the little things that make a difference. We have a great team on this trip.

Our driver's meeting is at 0830 this morning, and we'll be hitting the road right after that. So far we're having a blast.

So now's the calm before the storm. Sleeping bag and mat are rolled up and stored, tent is folded and secured, and I'm cooking up a can of corned beef hash on the tailgate. It is sunny and beautiful this morning here in VA. Life is good.

The weather in front of you has been unseasonably warm. I hope it cools before you get there. Our forecast high at my home today is 103.
