Our latest emigrant trail exploration. This was the grand daddy of all the trails to California. Thousands wagons followed this trail from the Missouri River to California. This was a trail that I have wanted to run for many years, as I have a family connection to it. I had 3 great uncles that followed it to California in 1850.
Where we started at the Parting of the Ways, it was 750 miles back home. Of course we had to get there so there's another 750 miles. The crew consisted of 5 Jeep Rubicons, 3 off road trailers, 1 off road tear drop and 1 ground tent.
