Routes near Santa Fe, NM

Hi,

I'm new here. I'm going to be in Santa in a couple of weeks and I'd like to do a short excursion (4-5 hours). I'll be solo in a mostly stock 2005 Tundra DoubleCab 4wd. Only mods are a leveling kit and 33" DuraTracs. I'm thinking of a loop heading southwest from Santa Fe and taking through Cochiti and taking the fire roads up to State Road 4 and taking that back toward Santa Fe. I don't really have any recovery gear yet other than a strap and I'll be with my wife so I'm not looking to push my limits, just want to get off the pavement for a while.

Does anyone have suggestions, maybe with a good spot to picnic?
