Roof top tent on Pathfinder

Hi every one was wondering what rack will I need for a Pathfinder looking at changing suv to a 2007 - 2010 nissan Pathfinder. Now the rating so far is 150lbs on roof. My smittybilt wieghs that much. What are some suggestions for a differnt rack and how to mount it?

I would get 3 Yakima crossbars in place of the stock bars, and bolt it to that. As long as the rack is in good shape, it should work. If you're bouncing around a lot offroad, check on the rack regularly.

Here is the one I had on a M-416 military trailer. It worked really well for me

The roof rack on the R51 Pathfinder is pretty stout actually. It is rated for 220lbs dynamic weight which implies over 600 lbs static. I put my RTT on mine and slept in it, me and my wife, no problem. I am like 220 and my wife is about a buck thirty. This info from a nissan usa technical publication that used to available be on line.
