What’s out there for roof top tent mounting on racks with round bars?

Bars are only 1/2” that run the direction of the bracket I can fab something if I must

Looking at those, they look pretty slim. Do you know the static and dynamic weight limits for your rack?

Bought 11/4” square tubing bolted it to rack and the brackets on the tent sit on this. What do you think?

I could be wrong but it doesn't really look like you even needed to do that. The RTT rails would run all the way down your cross bars and then the drop connectors to secure it to your rack. If there wasn't enough room to get underneath to tighten them I could see where the square bars would come in handy as it would lift it up higher for more room to get underneath to tighten them. My rack has round tubes as well and works fine with my RTT.

I had no rails that’s the problem just got the tent with brackets on it so had to make my own rails

Heavy duty electrical conduit clamps or even heavier duty would be pipe unistrut clamps
