Roof Rack and RTT vibration issues

I have a Garvin roof rack and a hard cover roof top tent. The tent makes constant noice while driving since it is hitting the roof rack. I have been thinking of covering the round bars with some kind of material like a hard foam.

Has anyone experience similar problems and how did you solved it?

Thanks so much for the help

One of the too many things I had to deal with in the shop was air noise. The noise is usually the air hitting an edge at an angle. Sometimes moving something back a few inch's helps. Air deflectors can channel the air over the top or just make the air hit a smoother area. To figure out exactly where the noise is, I've used cardboard and masking tape to temporarily block off air flow through things.

The process can be slow and sometimes its something real simple to do like moving everything back a couple of inch's.
good luck, I hope its simple.
