There are a TON of trucks around here and a sizeable off-road and overlanding population so I get a lot of compliments and questions about my truck but the #1 question is "What are those orange boards on the side of your truck? #2 What are those lights on your hood for?

Does “hey you need some help?” or “hey you need a tow truck?” Count?

Jokes aside. I do not often get compliments although I am mostly stock. I notice a lot of Latin Americans notice my truck as it is more popular in their home countries. The people who do notice the truck are often interested in or own a Mitsubishi and we typically have great conversations and keep in touch.
