Getting steaks ready for vacuum sealing and I get the pick of the litter for the next trip! With 3.5lbs of fatty meat left over, I rendered it down for some cooking oil and some pemmican treats for my pup! He loves me!! 3 jars of oil in total.

just saw this post...
yeah, beef fat is awesome. its called tallow when rendered and hardened...excellent for cooking and frying. do hand cut french fries in the beef fat versus vegetable oil and you'll never go back

Yeah I know but I also know you eat crayons so I didn't want to use big words.

for those that don't understand the crayon reference:
  • Originated from inter-branch rivalry
  • Often used by Army or Navy to roast Marines
  • Now embraced by Marines themselves
  • “Crayon eater” = self-aware Marine
  • It’s funny, not offensive
  • Represents playful military stereotypes️
  • Linked to jokes about Marine training
  • Not meant to degrade—just to tease

and because they taste as good as they smell...like play-doh and some paint thinners...
