Remote control spotlight

I want one of these for my service truck...boss wont go for it. The electric co here uses them...they work great. I am thinking of adding on the rig.

Anyone use one of these?

Here is a permanent mounted one...its a good bit cheaper.

We used similar versions in the Coast Guard on our boats. They provide decent light but they need to be centrally mounted on the vehicle, unless you plan on getting a few. Another negative is that they don't provide light within 4 feet of the vehicle because of their range of motion and the light obstruction created from the vehicle. For the price, I would get lightbars or something that would have a greater light spread. Ditch lights are great and can be mounted and adjusted very easily if you need light in a certain direction quickly. Just my opinion though.
