Something that has been bugging me...and i haven't even got out the door. Getting dusty and grimy is no biggy. There are portable showers out there and even heaters to take a warm/hot shower at the end of the day. What i haven't seen addressed any where is filtering and re using your water. After all being in the desert southwest in the middle of gods country water is not always easy to come by so filtering and reusing your water is a no brainer but i have yet to find a ready made product to do so. What are your thoughts?

I don't think it is worth the expense or trouble. I have a 5 gallons bucket that collects my sink water. That gets used on any fire if we have one. To have some type of grey water tank along with my clean water would be a major hassle.

I just try to be efficient with my water use.

Showers are certainly nice, especially depending on the length of your adventure. But for short, 1-2 day trips, baby wipes are a solid option for a quick refresh.

I have nothing to add regarding filtering or reusing water though, sorry.
