We’re lucky, living on the West coast of Scotland, it’s a five hour journey to get to the wild North. Weather can be a problem but we lucked out this time. Not much in available trails but some challenging single track roads.

I try to head "home" when I can - I'm originally from North Uist - Parents are in process of moving back up there to one of the houses we own on the island (We've owned it for nearly 30 years)

We live in Scottish Borders and love Scotland. I would move further north if I could convince her to go...plus get work too...

Why move your in the middle of everywere and the cheapst fuel in the north

Thanks for the pictures. There is something ... “wild” ... about the Celtic countries that’s hard to explain. I’ve been to Ireland many times and it always strikes me this way.
