Does anyone have any experience or some pictures of their rigs using a RTT opening so it unfolds off the back of your rig? I currently have it off the side and have a 4' ARB awning. I recently purchased a 2.5m Eezi-Awn and was going to switch to that being on the side and the RTT off the back.

I am considering doing this in my next iteration of roof rack but have some hesitations:

pros:
Provides a covered area to access the bed of the truck / cook
Makes the footprint more narrow for camping spots in the woods.

Cons:
Interferes with the canopy hatch opening fully
Ladder will be right behind you when cooking

Something like this:

my only concern would be atleast with my specific RTT(23 Zero USA), its wider then it is long, so opening to the side it hangs off the jeep less then if I had it open off the back of the rig.
also my rigs rear end is a hatch that opens upwards with a spare tire mounted to it as well.
realistically I think it would be all about your specific rig, and your tent as well.
hope this helps or atleast gives you so more incite on your outcome.
