Why make people go somewhere else for introducing themselves? In the main forum, your post is lost in about 10 minutes and a very low percentage will be local to you anyway. What's wrong with introducing yourself "locally"?

Until we can make the regional page more visible we need to get the word out that new members are joining. I totally agree with you and this will be changed soon. But until then please keep an open mind to this. Upgrades in the future will fix this.
The main reason is for me to be able to catch new members and direct them to a meet-up in their area.
If you have any further concerns please email me at Kent@Overlandbound.com or forum message me at Kent R. Thank you for the input!
