Rambox limitations

The ram box feature is great but it does host its challenges on racking systems. I ended up making my own slim style rack for the RTR.

I use the Front Runner bed rack for my Power Wagon with ram boxes. Does not obstruct access at all.

This is exactly what I am doing. One of only two solutions I found for those of us with a Rambox.

I've mounted quite a bit to mine since I installed it. Basically anything that doesn't need to be pulled from the truck with any frequency gets mounted to the rack. The last big item will be my spare tire once I go to 37s.

Frontrunner has a meager inventory on accessories, but I have a few things coming to tide me over.

I plan to copy your style wholesale and keep everything I frequently need up high and leave nothing but the backup generator I need for boondocking and firewood in the bed.

Where did you purchase the rack? I have been looking for something similar to this and just came across this post. Appreciate any and all insight.
