Quiet spot near Austin for a test run?

I'm hoping to find somewhere fairly close to Austin (Say within 2 hours) where I could park and sleep in my truck as a bit of a shake-down for my future solo ambitions. Hidden Falls is an obvious choice, but I'm hoping for something quieter and less dusty. I don't need any hookups or facilities.
