Who else has been eating like its their job during the quarantine? I self quarantined early on, so I'm well over a month at this; I got on the scale this morning and was so depressed, I had to go grab another handful of homemade cookies to help ease the pain. :tonguewink:

Since I hate cooking, since I used to dine out 20 times a week....
I'm wasting away to nothing.

Luckily, I’m a good cook. Unluckily, I hate the kitchen in my apartment that I have to stay in until July. Just so many small things that all add up. I’ve been eating out a lot less, but the delivery that I do order makes up the money I’m saving because it’s so much more expensive.

You're doing it wrong.

I am going to wear out another shovel at the rate I am going.

I have planted about 100 berry plants, turned one patch of ground and put in potatoes, started in on turning another patch of ground that clearly hasn't had a shovel in it for decades and I have started to level yet another section of the yard for current planting and future parking space. I have materials to start building a chicken coop (roughly 5' x 8') and a garden shed (10' x 10'). I also have about 300 hewn stone blocks for building a retaining wall on one side of my irrigation canal. I am sure I could use another six months of quarantine. I suspect The Varmints would like a break, but I am all for building character, and for building useful things too while I am at it.

Actually doing a lot better on food because it's less lunch and dinner out but the beer and booze is starting to take its toll.

Downtube shifters & cages. Now that's "Old School" right there... Nice Bike!!!

I've been riding some, but not nearly as much as usual. Part of it is due to our weather lately, part of it is due to trying to stay away from others and stay on the bike paths vs the roads, but most of it is due to eating so much that I'm always sluggish and just don't feel like it :disappointed:

I feel like I've been hoarding (aka: eating) food like others have been hoarding spam & toilet paper!!! Even only going to the grocery once every 2-3 weeks at a time isn't slowing me down much. I've also felt obligated to help maintain the statistic that alcohol sales have risen 56% since the outbreak started. I kinda feel like I'm on a mission to win the "Who can gain the most weight while quarantined" competition, or the "Just how far can you let yourself go" competition, or the "Who can make their cholesterol medicine work the hardest" competition.

I tried exercising, but it just made me hungry :grimacing:

ha! i can definitely see that. i've had quite the honey-do list to work on and that required a decent supply of Nattys. plus natural light has come out with a strawberry/lemonade flavored beer that is full of sugar and tastes soooo good! :grinning:

im thinking about trying slim fast and rum...

Shoot, I am eating far healthier than I was prior to the lock downs. Couple that with some spectacular spring weather and I've been digging holes, moving rock, cutting trees and doing general yard work. Plus I still have to go to work where I am crazy busy.

Now I have to figure out how to move these monsters and make a wall so I can move dirt and plant a garden.

*If anybody is bored, come remove those dead elm trees by the road for me.

I had just got back out into the field and was loosing weight, then the lock down and I am afraid I have gained back all that I lost.
Part of the issue is that my wife is the best cook in the world and so I have a hard time not eating everything she makes. She has been making home made bread and it is fantastic.

that's funny...the wife wanted some bantam silkies so i just finished a coop for them. they're too small to eat, but she wanted them so, here they are. she also wanted them next to my shop...they better not start stinking...!

Cool.

I don't know what we are going to get. We will see what is available once I have a place for them. I prefer something larger just so we get large eggs. We had a Wellsummer and a Buff Orpington last time. Those seemed a good size. I wish Turkens weren't so ugly.
