Hi everyone...been documenting my build at Ranger5G for the past several months since the delivery of my 2019 Ranger in May. Thought I'd continue the status of my overland build here as well:blush:

Thanks guys...I'll put up a spec sheet so far soon...as for the Diamondback, I love it! Just like everyone reported, this is a solid product and the best protection from breakin so far. I settled for the SE as my 5' bed is way too short to carry any ATV, not that I had plans for that...this rig is targeted for overlanding so 400lb is plenty of capacity to carry any OTT. Plus this one is way lighter at around 90lbs

Any thoughts on the fuel tank capacity? I have not seen anything bigger than the stock 18 gallons.

Dandy rig. I am a ford guy for trucks for sure. I have owned dozens upon dozens of them. One thing, I think I would get flush mount reverse lights. If you do any off roading, those will be crushed on your first ditch/washout crossing.
I know right? The exhaust would go with them too lol. Therefore, I'm limiting my truck to moderate/medium trails for now since I don't have anywhere near the other necessary extraction gears (winch/bumpers) or sliders...they are higher than they appear...in an ideal world, it's still within the Ranger's rear departure angle...

I just picked up my Ranger on Tuesday, and I’m looking to do the same sort of exterior mods... Where did you end up getting your front grille lights and the rear red lights?

Hi Greg and congrats on owning your Ranger! It would take me quite a while to repeat 14 pages worth of build, let me send you to my thread...

Have fun reading...all your questions about my Ranger are there:grinning:
