My last vehicle was a 1998 Tacoma 3.4L Limited Xtra Cab. It was such an awesome truck! Drove it for about 10 years and the only things that broke were little shit like lights and batteries. Sadly I had to get rid of it, the wife wouldn't let me have two trucks and a car seat wouldn't fit in the Tacoma.

Sad to see her go but i'm loving the Tundra!

Started off by ditching the 20's and getting some 18" TRD wheels off a 2014 Tundra and some new BFG KO2s 275/70/18.

Before:

After:

Next I blacked out my badges, grill and mirror caps and swapped the chrome door handles for black ones.

Got some Bilstein 5100s and Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers.

Decided I didn't like the look of the fender flares or mud flaps and also needed a new cap for the dogs.
A.R.E. CX series (Flip down sliding front window, windoors(slider in middle) on both sides, Yakima track system, LED dome light).

Took the Yakima MegaWarrior off my old Tacoma.

Picked up a Northstar x2 battery today. My old battery died so I figured I couldn't ignore the hype about these. We shall see...653755.jpg

Nice Tundra. I've done a few of the same mods to mine as well. (Bilsteins, KO2's, wheel spacers). I am curious... Where did you mount your Ram mount for your tablet? I have a mount that i removed from my Tacoma before i traded it in and would like to see how some people have mounted them.

I used the suction cup with the long arm and x grip. I will post some pictures up tomorrow. I'm really happy with it.

Here is how I have mine mounted. The angle of the picture is low so it looks like the tablet would block my view but it doesn't at all when in the drivers seat.

Looks like a great option. I guess I'll have to sit in my truck and mock it up. My Xgrip is currently mounted to the shelf in front of my workbench for entertainment purposes.

How do you like the Bilstein 5100s? Do they handle challenging terrain well?
