Pony Express

I searched, but the term 'Pony Express' brings up a myriad of random stuff. I want to do the Pony Express. I am in the early stages of planning and I am trying to find the route. I have found a small section of the route, but I am looking for the full GPX file. Does anyone know where I can find it? The NPS.gov is more on road, as far as I can tell.

I appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

You can find a track for portions of the track on map starting just south west of Salt Lake City.
Also search Pony Express here on the app I remember some conversation awhile back.

Can confirm, it’s an awesome trip. I’ve spent a great deal of town on the PET between Salt Lake and Nevada. Years back we did SLC to South Lake Tahoe, using as much of the Pony Express Trail as possible. It’s on my radar to do again.

We started in Saint Joseph and made it to maybe western Nevada. We linked up many of the drop stations. We were on motorbikes too. Most of it I remember was VERY isolated. We rode it in 2009. I didn’t have any navigation and most nights at camp Jim worked on plotting the routes. Lol there’s a YouTube video somewhere. I wonder if it’s still up.
