The annual Hill Country Trip is supposed to be the first Saturday in April, making this year as April 4th. However, with it being Easter weekend (and possibably other conflicts), I'd like to see how everyone feels about possibly moving it. It would be nice to have as many folks show up to honor our friend Rex as possible. So, before I set anything up, let me know what you would prefer in the poll above.

I'll give it till next week and then go with what works best for everyone.

I’m good the weekend before or after whichever is best for the bluebonnets. We plan to camp the night before and after the run at Oxford Ranch like we were originally planning with Rex before he passed.

There's only 2 votes so far. The poll is what I'll be going by, so make sure to vote because it's "Time to Choose".

Right now the 11th or 18th weekend works for me

Hey Mike, we did a day trip last year out to the Regency Bridge, which is one of 2 (I believe) drivable wooden suspension bridges in TX. It's actually really cool, and OnX has some small overlanding trails we connected together along the way. Have a look into it. Maybe for this or a future run!

It's near San Saba

Looks pretty cool. And, it's relatively close to Colorado Bend & Sulpher Springs for camping.

Ya, that's exactly what we did. We stayed at Sulphur Springs and then went to Colorado Bend for a hike, and then the next day went to the bridge. There's a pretty deep water crossing on one of the overlanding routes. It's only about 1-2', but if you don't take the correct angles (the crossing zigzags) there's a 3-4' drop-off on the side. We were alone and didn't chance it.

Nice. Looking forward to you setting up a rally point. LOL
