I figured this would be a good place for open discussion for trip planning. Hoping we can get something planned and set up on rally point for sometime in September.

Wish I had better days off, lol. Stuck with Sun-Mon. Not much benefit from the holiday to me. Could find you guys Sunday morning though.

I'd like to suggest WABDR section 2-3 September 2-4. I'd be up for the TSF but at last check most of the good parts were closed due to extreme fire danger.

NWoverland had a thread a little while ago for Douglas creek. It looked like an awesome route and for those who wanted to camp could camp and other could just make it a day trip if that would like.

The coast area would definitely be a good start. I live over here in Central Oregon, lots of cool stuff here that I am discovering despite living here since 1995 lol

I'm interested in joining this, hopefully the fire danger goes down a little if we ever get some rain

This trip seems to now be trending to the overland loop trail in the tahuya state forest. Labor Day weekend seems like it's still the best option for the most people.
XkenhillX is trying to get a head count before setting up a rally point. Let's help him out to get this organized! Tin man is in.
