Hello, as the title says, are there any meetings planned in europe for the next few months or some other events were we may meet? Maybe especially in germany...
I'm going for a "offroad adventure day" near Düsseldorf in late November, nothing else planned for the rest of the year.
Would like to meet some of you!

Sounds good, maybe we can come around, very short term. I'm hoping for the next season.
I thank you for the invitation!

I do a lot of little events, just from one (us) to six or seven cars.
Camping, cooking, geocaching and so on.
For an example, Marco from Scotland, also an OLB member will come around the 15th of December, and is heading to the Nordkapp. So, I will meet him up somewhere and then have a two day trip with him through Holland and we end up at our place. One or Two nights on a camping and good fun during the trip and in the evening. Think it will be winter camping for real.

I really hope so!
What's about the other members in the central European area?

Well, it is starting slowly and it takes a while to get people aware that we can do weekend trips.
In the UK it isnt a problem, here in Western Europe it is more of a challenge.
But I manage to get some tracks in France and Spain. But Spain is more for a week or so.
And in Holland I have enough for six or seven weekend trips.
Will do next year a trip to Mecklenburg Vorpommern and that part in Polen.
A trip to Spain, Bandenas Reales and the Pyrenees. A trip to Wales and at least on trip to France. As we missed that one this year.

Meckpom sounds good, interested in the area for some time now, so I'm sure we gonna meet up with you in the future.
I think that especially the germans are not used to communitys like this.

That I dont know, but I think in Europe we arent as much as we think common to travel a lot of km for just the weekend.
100km, but 500km is soooo far away.
Well, I like to drive, so 500km for a good weekend, one way, is ok by me.

Yes, germans like to be efficient even in their free time, do as much as possible. Driving for hours is wasted time.
I changed my mind about that, to me it's about "wasting" my time driving 500km for a campfire with friends? Why not!

Correct, when the weekend was a smash, you will forget the distance towards and from that weekend.

Well, I should say then, get in your car on the 17th and join us for that weekend. Frankfurt is just 500km away from the start and a bit closer to get home on sunday.

Robert, I would but I have Dienst on the 18th. But, vehicle is up and running, mods finished, so outside of work there is nothing stopping me as in the past.

Well then dont worry. As I do every month a tour or weekend. And when people are coming from a little bit further away, I guess, a weekend around a tour is easely planned.

Hello guys!
I'm thinking about a 4-6 days trip to France, Jura or Provence, camping trip...
Anyone experienced in this region?
