Pinto Canyon Road/Big Bend Area, TX

I make two trips a year to the Big Bend area. National Park and State Park. Planning a trip for late February and plan on driving Pinto Canyon Road between Marfa and Ruidosa. I’ve got it mapped on GAIA but wonder if any of you have ever taken the route? Supposed to be pretty. Any thoughts are advice are appreciated!

Cool! I’m camping on Christmas Mountain first so it seems it would be less mileage to approach from the South. However, views are important!

Depart Marfa early, Terlingua can be had in about 4 hours. Plenty of time.

That sounds like a great trip plan. Been a whole since I was in BBNP. I need to get back sooner than later.
