Photography clubs

Is it a good idea to try and find a photography club to help learn about photography and to get feedback so I can take better pictures?

You can check meetups.com to see if they have one in your area. The one here in Houston called the houstonphotowalk and they do monthly photo walks around town or road trips as well as webinars. There are people who will help with various gear from using a tripod or settings for a certain type of shot.
