Pete's Camp Windam, VT trip.

I am thinking about taking a trip over to Pete's Camp next week July 19th. I'll be traveling from around Speculator, NY heading East along Route 8 then Route 28. I haven't planned the whole route yet but I am sticking to two lane roads only. Does anyone know of some cool things to see in the area around Pete's Camp or maybe meet up? I might take a short trip over to Main Line Overland Friday since it's only about two hours away.

the cable ferry at ft Ticonderoga is a cool different way to get into Vermont.

Thanks, I looked into the ferry and it has been added to the route. It only makes the trip a little longer but then again it’s all part of overlanding even though it’s actually over water. I think it still counts.

Pete's Camp was great! I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. Pete is a super guy.
