My group is headed to CO to run the COBDR in July, and will be passing through Wichita Falls, TX area on the first night. That will most likely be our stopping point and I was wondering if anyone knew of a decent spot to stop and pop tents for the evening.

I haven't stayed in Wichita Falls but have passed through plenty of times. Keeping in mind there isn't much public land here in Texas, I would generally recommend a Texas State Park. In that area you have Arrowhead State Park and it looks pretty nice (most Texas State Parks are pretty well kept).
