Overland Vehicle Systems 270 awning issue

Hey everyone! Hope someone here might have some insight. Purchased the ovs awning about 3 weeks ago. Great awning in itself, but it has started to rain here in the pnw, and the awning cover is filling with water every time it rains. I've reached out to ovs about it, but guessing they won't have any insight. Has anyone else had this issue with the ovs or any other 270 awning? It's a very poor design for the cover. I looked into quick release mounts to pull it every time I come back from a trip, but appears no one makes anything for the larger awnings. Water is coming in on the ends of the cover as it's not sealed to the case in any way.

This is the end of the cover from inside, fully open to the elements and water intrusion. Awning is soaked inside cover because of it.

So I had the same issue and got a company that makes canvas covers to take the half bag off and make a full bag that covers the back as well. And they added a flap that goes over the zipper as well.
