Overland Newbie

  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Hey everyone!

I’m new to Overlanding. My goal is to minimize and eventually live off grid in my rig traveling the country. I hope to meet and make lots of friends along the trails!

My plan for the next couple of years is to build my rig and get some experience under my belt, and then transition to full time living on the road.

I currently live in the Florida panhandle.

My rig currently is a 94 Isuzu Amigo. Mostly stock besides a hard top, rodeo headlight conversion, and a custom Jeep rear bumper. I have a roof rack and few other things on the way as we speak.

I’m open for any tips, tricks and general info you guys have! Thanks!

Hello Jason, welcome to the OB family. I was stationed at Eglin AFB back in the day and loved the clear blue water and white sand beaches of that area.
