Alright OB fans got three questions for you all.

#1 Piece of your overland kitchen kit you can't live without?

#2 Piece of kitchen kit you had to have and hardly, if ever, use and yet you always take?

#3 Piece of kit you wish you had?

Since I brought it up, I will go first...

#1- Have to have my trusty Colman camp stove with grill top and burner.

#2- The plastic martini shaker.

#3- REI camp kitchen with lantern hanger.

I beleive I read something like this awhile back on "lancruising adventures" site so I will differ the credit of idea to them..

cant wait to see what others come up with and will hopefully get some ideas for my own ever evolving kit. @administrator

Depends on the crew I'm out with.
Current Crew = Corkscrew
On my own = Weber LP BBQ

#2 Piece of kitchen kit you had to have and hardly, if ever, use and yet you always take?
Roll up Cutting board

#3 Piece of kit you wish you had?
Better organization / nesting of existing kit

Agree it depends on crew. Basics for me would be #1 my jetboil setup (original version). #2 is my backup Coleman stove. #3 a built in kitchen setup where everything has it's place a ready to go.

#1: My 14+ year-old Jetboil for sure!
#2: Nothing comes to mind. We have stuff we don't consistently use every trip but they do come into play every so often. Now, if the question was stuff I have at home which I bought but never used, then I'd have a whole list for you.
#3: A cast iron skillet (too heavy, bulky, and oddly shaped for me to pull the trigger on just yet)
