Have any of you guys been to overland expo east? Is it worth going too and would the campground be accessible with a 2WD truck? I’m debating going but I am about 8 hours away from the expo.

If you have never been to an Overland Expo, it is worth attending at least once. They offer a lot of different types of classes from first aid to trail-side repairs to camp cooking. It is also a lot of fun to walk through the campgrounds to look at the different types of rigs and setups.Have any of you guys been to overland expo east? Been 2x, 2022, 2023.
You can access all areas in a car, so, yes.
There's a few options for camp areas.
The general admission is festival style. You get a park spot with an area of about 20 x 40 ft.
The " woodlands experience " puts you up on the hill in some trees, with lots of elbow room. Downside is you need to take the carts or walk a 1/4 mile to the event areas.
We've done both. We will be doing festival style this year - good bit cheaper, and not bad. The danger is you get setup next to all night party drinkers and not much sleep, although I think you could move.
The vendor area is great. There are a bunch of free classes on all kinds of skills to learn.
The Saturday night vendor parties are fun!
Hope that helps.
