Official Forum Rules?

After a brief browse around the forums, I couldn't easily find an official rules thread or memo anywhere. Not that I want to test their limits, but it would be good to have those out in the open.

I'm asking because I had a question that a rules post might have helped, otherwise I was ending up here anyways.

Is it allowed to post links to threads in other forums? For example, I have a fairly extensive build thread of my vehicle on IH8MUD, a popular Toyota 4wd forum. Could I share it here? Or include it in my signature?

We've been going to put together a guideline for sometime now, but it keeps getting sidelined. Common sense rules generally apply. I like Cory's rule on Midwest Overlanders; "Don't be an asshat!" :)
