Check out this little gem that was waiting at the post office for me today!! I had never heard of this book until the other day. While doing some research on safaris I ran across a site that said "if you've ever wanted to travel around the world in a Land Rover - READ THIS FIRST". So I had to hunt one down. Lucked out and found this one for a lot less money than most of those I found. Be sure to read that 1st paragraph on the inner flap - "2 adults and 7 children in a small English-made station wagon, the Land Rover, no larger than the famous American Jeep". It's actually smaller than Grover, my '63 SIIa 88 StationWagon, they were in a SI 80!! The pics are nice, but I really enjoy those little pencil drawings on the bottom of some of the pages. It was printed in 1957.
