Newbie in NC

Hi all!

I have lived in eastern NC my whole life - just getting in to camping/overlanding. I’ve explored a bit of Croatan NF and Alligator River. Looking to get out to the western side of the state in October.

Eyeing NC105 for some dispersed camping. Any other recommendations that would be full size rig (tundra crewmax with 6.5’ bed) friendly? Haven’t done many modifications as of yet.

There are a lot of areas in the Southeast you can manage with a full size. Many areas in Western NC, SC, and Georgia. Western NC may be off the table for a bit. Do some research on the Georgia Traverse...
