Excited to be here! Looking to get a Jeep Wrangler-had one in the past. and still have my 2001 Toyota Tacoma but he is getting tired. So its time to retire him (he will remain in the family) and get another. Looking to. get into overlanding-guess I have been doing it for a while truck camping but looking forward to heading west-southwestern US. Thanks again!

@SoWhyDon'tYou Welcome Lisa. You live in a very beautiful region. I lived in Governeour, NY for 5 years or so. I loved exploring the Andriondacs. My favorite places to go where Cranberry Lake, Lake George, and out by Oxbow. There is an old flower mill near Oxbow where the muskies would come every spring to spawn.

Thank you! Not sure what my build will be yet. Brian-my 2001 Toyota Tacoma-his rear diff is rusted through and leaking oil-so don't know if I am goin to fix it or patch it for the remainder of his life. but I have my eye on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon-only 15,000. miles on her-may be making the plunge this week. Taking month of April off and traveling from Albany, NY to Vegas (visiting my aunt) and would like to do some easy trail rides (Utah/Nevada) and just sleeping in the back of the jeep. Just have to figure out a comfortable sleeping (thinking memory foam mattress cut to fit on side in back of jeep-I'm only 5'1" so I'll fit) set up and have rest of gear for camping. I'm so excited! I do have to admit I'm a little. nervous about snakes, scorpions., spiders and mountain lions-never had to. deal with these-may sound stupid.
Please share the new ride when you do. Sorry to hear Brian is in surgery. Hopefully he's back on the road soon.
