Just joined OB and looking forward to being part of the community.
We live up in the Glasshouse Mountains just north of Brisbane and spend a fair bit of time exploring SE QLD.
We've been lucky enough to complete a couple of epic trips, last year we spent 6 months touring through central and northern Australia avoiding the blacktop as much as possible. In July this year we completed a double crossing of the Simpson desert which was an awesome trip.
My rig is a 2007 Mitsubishi Triton Dual Cab, we done a fair bit of work to it and pretty happy with the overall setup. Just before the Simmo trip we removed the tub and chassis mounted a custom alloy canopy that I've decked out for extending touring trips, worked really well.
