Recently back from Overland Expo where I decided to finally join OB.
New to overlanding, but plenty of experience with old-fashioned car camping and remote camping for astronomy, which logistically turns out to be like overlanding except we stay in one place for star-watching.
Bought a 4WD after getting my Prius challenged in some backcountry areas where it did not belong.
I have a 2014 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams and am starting to outfit it for the trail: for now basic things like fire extinguisher, simple ARB compressor, some Demello rock sliders and hopefully some RCI skid plates soon. Looking at building it out incrementally after doing research..
