I’m not to great at these things, but I’ll give it my best shot.

A little about me:

I grew up in Ohio, and spent a fair amount of my childhood camping with my family which is where my love for the outdoors started. A few years ago I moved to California and stayed there for a couple years before getting sick of the traffic and missing family so I moved back. It was out there that I first heard of overlanding. Unfortunately since moving back I haven’t gotten as many opportunities to get out as I would like.

A little about my truck:

It’s a ‘92 S10 2WD. I would prefer 4WD for peace of mind, but I bought the truck before I thought I’d need it. I don’t have much interest, for now, in heavy offroading, so 2WD is okay. It’s been lifted 2 inches to clear larger tires, 31’s vs stock 26’s. The truck is starting to show its age, but has been good to me since day 1.

Anyway, I've lurked for a while now, really enjoy the vibe here, and figured it was as good of a time as any to sign up. I look forward to learning all I can from here, and hopefully can contribute more than just conversation one day.

Welcome, from up west of Cleveland. I grew up in Logan County in west-central Ohio, and it is a beautiful area.

Thank you for the welcomes guys.

Steve, I love logan county too, I could almost get around Old Man's Cave with my eyes shut. Somehow though I just recently learned of Wayne National Forest and Zaleski.

Oddly enough, Logan isn't in Logan County. Logan County is over west of Columbus. ;)
