If this is the same vehicle seen in previous shots, it's likely an LR4 with some crap stuck on it to disguise its shape. See Andrew St. Pierre White's analysis of it. They may be using it to test components of the new defender, perhaps.

yeah - I watch his videos too, lots of mystery out there still! Once it comes out, i'm probably only 6 years of depreciation away from getting one...lol

I am getting kinda disappointed with LR. They used to have the Range Rover, a nice, larger luxury SUV. The Defender, a boxy, utilitarian off road monster. The Discovery, midway between the Defender and RR. The Evoque, a small SUV for those who want something for snow and ice or a run-around-town vehicle. If you set a new Defender, Range Rover and Discovery side by side and took the badges off I don’t think I could tell them apart.
