Need recommendations from Austin area folks!
My transmission has started shuttering and chattering from a stop. It's done it a couple of times. I've already done a fluid exchange, I think its time to take it to a shop and look into a rebuild/replacement.
2003 4runner v6, 4wd, 213K miles on it
Anybody have a shop they'd recommend for transmission rebuilds/replacements? Would love a shop that is willing to source a used, warrantied trans as an option.
OR-anybody have a shop with a lift, and feeling extry generous, and wanting to help a stranger R&R his transmission himself?
