I have a 2014 F150 Supercrew with an Ecoboost. I want to mount my ARB twin compressor somewhere other than the bed. There doesn't seem to be a big enough spot under the hood, so I am reaching out to see if anyone has a suggestion. I would like to do something pretty clean , meaning I don't want to bolt down it in the open. The truck has lock boxes under the rear seat. Has anybody ever mounted one behind the rear seat? I have a factory locker, so it will only be used for airing up tires and inflating mattresses, floats, and such. Any pictures would be helpful.

Not sure if the f150s have the same room, but there's quite a few guys who have mounted them under the bed of their f250. I have mine mounted on a Builtright panel in the bed, though. After using mine a few times, I'm glad it's not inside the cab. It's too loud to be mounted inside there IMO.

We mounted our ARB twin in the cab of our Jeep mainly to keep it out of the weather and dust, lets me mount the air filters right on the compressor rather than with a hose. The noise does not bother us as the only time it runs is when we are outside filling tires etc. never on when inside.
