First was my longest trip... I did this one solo over 9 days this august. I stopped and saw... St Louis, indoor skydiving in Oklahoma City, Amarillo TX, Petrified forest AZ, Phoenix AZ, Hiked in and out of the Grand canyon in the same day, Vegas, Zion UT, Pink coral sands UT, Big sky MT, Badlands in ND, and Lake MI in the UP of Michigan. I didnt have a true overland rig, but borrowed my parents van. It worked out well, but i stayed on paved roads for the most part. Trip 2 was a couple years ago... I did this one with a friend in 8 days. We stopped at Schitterbahn in Kansas city. Did the tallest fastest water slide in the world. I think its shut down now because that kid was killed on it this summer ): From there we met some friends in Colorado for a day. We headed to Arches UT, and then up towards the Tetons and Yellowstone. On the way home we stopped and saw some caves in SD, and checked out the Badlands as well.
The most recent solo trip ive done was to the Outerbanks. I had a 4 day weekend so i just packed up and headed out. Saw some cool lighthouses, the ocean, the Wright brothers monument, and the Chesapeake bay bridge. It was pretty packed for a short trip, but was lots of fun
