Totally new to 4runners. Did some searching and it seems it's probably the uniballs, or bushings??

Thoughts?

If spraying the top of the upper control arm where the ball joint is stops the sound, then the ball joint isnt securely bolted in. The ball joint should have ZERO movement in the upper control arm. What might help is have someone hold the camera at the top of wheel pointed towards the control arm and stand on the rock rails and get the 'Runner rocking. If its loose suspension that should get the sound going, and with the camera right there a keen eye might spot some movement.

As said above, if spraying the uniball where the ball joint was makes it go away, make sure it’s all tight, then check for movement. If there is movement with it all tight. The uniball May has failed/worn. I’ve seen it happen a few times on some dirt king UCA we used to install on frontiers.
