Good morning to everyone out there! Nice and cold here in Haywood county North Carolina. I’m hoping to hit the dirt this weekend even if it’s for a couple of hours.
I will be in Polk County, NC. Where do you like to ride? Are you familiar with the Smokey Mountains 500/1000? Have not done it yet but planning to this Spring.

I am familiar with the Smokey Mountain 500/1000. I have not done it my self but I’m sure I’ve been on parts of it. I like to ride thru Harmon Den area and explore the roads around and beyond Max Patch. I also like to ride the forest service roads between 276 and 215. I live right off of 276 and a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway so they are not too far at all. Is there good riding in Polk county?
