Mohave road without 4wd?

Wondering how reasonable it would be to do the Mohave road with my TRD Tacoma with rear locker but no 4wd? I understand there are risks, especially with the weather but assuming normal conditions the road doesn’t look all that crazy from everything I have seen. For those that’s have driven it, can I do it realistically or am I taking too much of a risk? Thanks for any thoughts!

Other than the water crossing at the end, which you can bypass, a kids tricycle could probably make it. It is a mostly flat dirt road. Your mileage may vary. Fun trip. Not difficult.
